The password reset page is used to set up your initial password for the EJCA website or to reset a password if you happen to forget your password in the future. Follow these steps to reset your password.

1. Go to the Reset Password web page.

2. Enter your 'Account eMail Address'. This was sent to you in your welcome email. Note that if you've set up a secondary email on your profile, you cannot use this secondary email to log into your account. If you have forgotten your 'Account eMail Address', please send an email to webadmin@ejca.org and we'll help you out.

3. Confirm the captcha (check the box)

4. An email titled 'Choose a new password for your Edmonton Japanese Community Association account' will be sent to your email address. Check your spam or trash folder if you can't find it. Click on the link in the email to open up a 'set new password' page in your browser.

5. Enter in a new password and confirm your password by typing it in again. These passwords will be case sensitive and must be a minimum of 7 characters long. You can use and combination of numbers, letters or special characters in your password.

6. Click on the 'Set New Password' button. A message will be displayed letting you know that your password has been reset. You can now log into the website by using the login gadget at the top of the webpage. See the illustration below.

Note that these password reset links can only be used once. If you need to reset your password in the future, you will need to request a new link (see step 1). It's a good practice to delete your password reset email once your password has been reset.

Last but not least: if you do know your password but just want to change it, you can do so anytime from your profile or in the login-menu.

パスワードの再設定方法のページは　初めてパスワードを設定する時、及び将来パスワードを忘れた時にお使いください。

１．こちらをクリックします。Reset Password 

２．あなたのアカウントのメールアドレスを入力します。(ご注意：Profileの中に二つメールアドレスを入れた方は、初めのemailがアカウントのメールアドレスです。”secondary email”ではパスワードは設定できません。) あなたのアカウントのメールアドレスが分からない場合は、webadmin@ejca.org へご連絡ください。

４．'Choose a new password for your Edmonton Japanese Community Association account'というメールがあなたのメールアドレスに送られます。そのメールの中のLinkをクリックして'set new password'を開けてください。もしこのメールが届いていないときは、スパン又はジャンクメールになっているかもしれません。そちらを見てください。

５．指示に従って、パスワードを入れ、もう一度確認のため同じパスワードを入れます。パスワードは大文字、小文字の違いがあり、最低7文字(数字、アルファベットまたは記号の組み合わせ)が必要です。

６．最後に　'Set New Password'を押してください。パスワードが設定されましたというメッセージがでます。これで、終わりです。下図の’Log in'’をクリックして、個人情報関係のページに入ります。

今日お送りしたメールのReset linkは一度しか使えません。使い終わったらメールを削除すると安全です。将来パスワードを変更したいときはProfileボタンの中の’change password' , 　パスワードを忘れたときはLog-inの’Forgot password'からPassword reset linkのメールを受けられます。

パスワードは知っているがパスワードを変更したいだけの時は、Log-in してProfileの中から変更できます。
